VEEP works directly with students, helping them develop leadership skills and take action through energy and climate projects. Middle and high school students can also get involved through Youth Adult Energy Action or the Youth Climate Leaders Academy. Click a program area below to learn more.


Virtual STEM Labs

We are offering virtual STEM labs to learn about specific energy topics and practice science and engineering design for homeschool students or students just interested in the topic. Groups will meet over several weeks with an online instructor.

Small Grant Program 2021-22

We are welcoming proposals for grants of $100–$1,000 for projects that address climate change and improve environmental literacy among students in Vermont and New Hampshire schools.

Want to take action on climate change? Teen leaders get support from VEEP staff and community leaders to plan and implement a climate action project while growing their skills as current and future climate leaders.

Energy Action Basecamp

Basecamp is a chance to connect and collaborate virtually with NHEEP/VEEP and other teachers engaging (or curious about launching) action projects with their students.


Virtual Youth Energy Fair

This event is open for Middle and High School learners interested in discovering more about what different energy professionals do in their work, as well as have an opportunity to consult with them about an energy project you would like to embark on in your school or community.
