Qualifications: Chris began his work with NHDES coordinating the year-long development of the New Hampshire Climate Action Plan in 2009. Building on that effort, he has led climate and energy-planning initiatives within NHDES, among NH state agencies and among the New England states and eastern Canadian provinces. His most valuable education occurred prior to graduate school, when he learned how to manage multi-stakeholder deliberations and build trust and consensus among opposing factions by teaching students in fifth through eighth grade in public and private school settings, as well as by leading team-building programs and running ropes courses at outdoor schools across the country.
