How does Baby Yoda help us explain the behavior of magnets and static electricity?

Description

Using the phenomenon of the Jedi power of Yoda, students explore the non-contact forces of magnets and static electricity and apply the learning to solve an engineering challenge.

Students will perform experiments to see the power of magnetism and static electricity with their own eyes. Integrating learning from the experiments and class discussions, students will work to use their knowledge to solve an engineering task. Students will attempt to stop a wooden car traveling down a ramp using magnetic forces.
