After studying alternative education in college, Janet moved to Vermont to teach environmental education. She has since worked on a number of educational farms in Vermont as well as running a CSA and teaching math and science at an alternative high school in New Hampshire. For the past decade, Janet has been a volunteer with Four Winds Nature Institute leading lessons in natural science for grades K – 6. Janet loves learning by doing and finds the natural world a constant source of amazement. Sharing the joy of discovery through experiential learning is why she joined VEEP in 2023.
Janet enjoys working outdoors, growing food, singing with others, playing a little banjo, and backpacking.
