Members from the Youth Lobby attend the Youth Climate Leaders Academy each year to gain skills, make connections, and work on planning out their actions for the coming year. In 2019 a group decided to focus on planning out the first Youth Climate Congress, from which emerged a Youth Climate Declaration. These students attended committee meetings, giving testimony and delivering a copy of the declaration urging appropriate climate action on the state level. Youth Lobby will continue their advocacy work, with the support of VEEP, each year. Learn more about Youth Lobby here!
